First Internet Message

From time to time, I indulge myself, by reading technical manuals from old, out of date operating systems or software packages.  It gives me the perspective that, not much has changed, although a lot has changed.  The telegraph marked the beginning of long distance electronic communication, the beginning of a story which brings us to today.

Weighing it at over 800 pages, and 59 chapters, it is comforting to see that technical manuals have slimmed down over the years.
